16 July 2016, right in the middle of summer, the world famous open air music festival, Electronic Family, which has been held in Amsterdam since 2011 by ALDA Events, will cross borders for the first time to Tallinn and become closer to thousands of people from the Baltics, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
The first ever Electronic Family festival in the Baltics impresses with a unique composition of leading artists, who represent only the major labels of, probably, the most melodious electronic dance music in the universe: Armada, Anjunabeats, Vandit.

18. Detsembril külastab Eestit Power Hit Radio elektroonilise muusika saate, Power Partyzone, iganädalase külalisena üles astuv, kahe Grammy auhinnaga pärjatud ning korduvalt maailma number üks Dj’ks kroonitud Paul Van Dyk.
Power Hit Radio fännide soovile vastu tulles kutsuti staarprodutsent Tallinna ööklubisse Factory oma viimase albumi “Politics of Dancing 3” maailmaturnee raames. Paul Van Dyk annab vahelduseks suurtele festivalidele eksklusiivse ja intiimse klubikontserd, kust ei puudu ka tema tuntuimad hitid nagu “For An Angel”, “Let Go” ja “Alive”.

Koos korraldasid Paul van Dyk ja Paavo Järvi muusikasündmust nimega Music Discovery Project. Ettevõtmise idee oli orkester panna koos töötama täiesti teisest žanrist muusikaga ja tulemuseks oli väga huvitav crossover klassikalise ja klubimuusika elementide vahel. Projekti salajane osa oli see, et sel moel kokkupuutepunktide rõhutamisele panustades lähendatakse tänapäeva publikut klassikalisele muusikale.

Dedicated, hardworking, and energetic – three words that is probably the best attempt to briefly describe what the Norwegian hot-shot Ørjan Nilsen is about. In the last few years he has been wow’ing audiences across the planet with his take on what a 21st century DJ and producer should be about.
Born in 1982 in the Norwegian town of Kirkenes, Ørjan has had very little doubt about what he wanted to do with his life, having listened to countless CD compilations, and seeing some of the legends DJing, Ørjan knew that the DJ booth would be his domain one day.
Ørjans work with the dutch label Armada Music started with the track “Red Woods” released in 2006 under his DJ Governor alias, and over the years Ørjan found his groove, flashing samples of his huge potential, with “La Guitarra” (2008), Lovers Lane and So Long Radio (2010). Ørjan went on to release his first artist album in 2011 titled “In My Opinion” which stormed up sales charts and catapulted Ørjan onto the watch-list of every EDM-fan around.
Even though “In My Opinion” was very successful, Ørjan showed no intention of slowing down, quickly releasing mammoth tracks like “Viking”, “Atchoo” (2011) and opening 2012 in collaboration with Armin van Buuren and the aptly titled “Belter” followed by his own “Amsterdam” and “Endymion” before finishing out the year with club-destroyers “Copperfield” and “Filthy Fandango”.
As a DJ, Ørjan Nilsen quickly established himself with an infectious blend of all things chunky and groovy, his energy and presence behind the decks has taken him around the world playing at some of the world’s finest clubs and biggest festivals, from Sao Paulo to Sydney and many places in-between. It has been a remarkable journey which resulted in recognition from industry heavyweights.
One thing is certain, there is no stopping this Norwegian prodigy, as he is on a mission, be it in the studio or in the DJ booth, Ørjan Nilsen is determined to surprise, amaze and entertain, and you would not want to miss out.
DJ Producer Mark Sixma was born in the Netherlands in ‘83. Being raised in Breda, hometown of DJ Tiesto, it was only a matter of time till he caught the trance virus. After mastering the art of DJ’ing at high school parties and in local club “De Spock”, Mark got interested in producing music as well.
With a helping hand from his friend Paul Moelands (aka Re:locate) he started to produce his first trance tracks. His background in classical piano music proved to be a great benefit here. It wasn’t until graduation year at the University of Tilburg that Mark started to put more time and effort into producing and soon after his first release was a fact. After hearing his music, record label Basic Beat signed ‘Freak Electrique’ and ‘Techmatic’. ‘Freak Electrique ‘ was also featured on Riley and Durrant’s mix compilation ‘a Quest For Trance 2′. That’s where the ball got rolling!
After releasing a collaboration with Def Tactical and a Project 6 E.P at Five AM Records it was time for the next M6 release called ‘Destination 6’. It was chosen “Tune of the Week” on Armin van Buuren’s radioshow ‘A State Of Trance’ and got supported by the biggest names on the planet! From that point on a lot of doors were opened for Mark. The next M6 single was signed at Armada. ‘Fade 2 Black’ was, once again, selected ‘Tune of the Week’ on ASOT. An incredible accomplishment in such a short period of time. It’s safe to say that Mark is one of the fastest rising stars in trance music.
Mark’s tracks are now being released on Armada, Blackhole Recordings and Fektive and have been played by top jocks like Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Judge Jules, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, and many many more. He’s also done remixes for producers like Mike Foyle, Re:locate and W&W. And the requests keep coming in by the dozen.
While he’s spending a lot of time in the studio, Mark also hosts his monthly radio show ‘Solid Sounds’ at worldwide internet broadcasters Citybeatradio.org, Danceradio.gr and Puresounds.fm. Dj bookings are also coming in steadily and his international DJ career started of with a bang at the Trance Gate event in Italy! It’s clear that Mark has a great future ahead of him.
After learning classical music teaching at an early age(music theory, piano, and cello),
Alexandre Bergheau decided to jump into production in 2008.
Resident in a french club for a year (2008/2009), he got some major attention for his Trance dynamic sets.
Influenced by trancy, chill'out sounds and the rythm of trance music, Alexandre decided to create, after using a lot of aliases in the EDM scene, a massive project under his own name "Alexandre Bergheau", including a mixture of all these sounds.
In the summer of 2012, he signed his first single of this project on Blue Soho Recordings called "Colors of Persia". Just after the start of the promotion for "Colors of Persia", this one was supported by Armin Van Buuren on A State of Trance and in his live sets. Right after this single, a follow up of "Colors of Persia" named "Damavand" was made at the beginning of 2013 and got huge support from Armin Van Buuren again with 4 additional plays in a row on his radio show ASOT and lot of playtime during his own gigs.
A lot of new tracks/singles in different kinds of Trance music came up after these. More Uplifting ones like his collaboration with Andrew Rayel "We are not afraid of 138" or "Call me up", both released on Armin Van Buuren's label "Armada" in 2013, or more progressive ones like "Symptom" or "All that matters" released on Armada music as well during 2014.
At an early age, and with already massive production skills, Alex joined the Armada booking agency for touring over the world to spread his passion for club music. He already perfomed during famous events and festivals like ASOT 650 of Armin Van Buuren, FSOE 300 of Aly and Fila or Armada nights and got the support from the best Trance artists such Armin Van Buuren, W&W, Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate, Aly and Fila, Paul Van Dyk, Jorn Van Deynhoven, Andrew Rayel and more ...
