Kmag have joined forces with Blu Mar Ten, SoundCloud, Loopmasters, Finyl Tweek and Surus for an exclusive remix competition. Download the free parts to Blu Mar Ten's All Or Nothing, remix it and win some great prizes.
The winning remix will be professionally mastered at Finyl Tweek and released as a digital exclusive as part of the Love is the Devil remix project, alongside remixes from dBridge, Marcus Intalex, BCee, Joe Syntax, Unquote and Blu Mar Ten. The winner will also win a SoundCloud pro account, 2GB of free Loopmasters sample packs and £100 to spend in the Surus download store.
One runner-up and the group choice winner (the entry in the group that is favorited the most) will win a SoundCloud Lite account, a free Loopmasters sample pack and £50 to spend in the Surus download store.

Hi all,
I just thought I'd let you know about a music video competition we (Knowledge mag) have launched with Bungle, Spearhead and Addict Clothing. The winning video will be used as the official music video plus there is £500 of Addict clothing for the winner.
If you've ever fancied yourself as a music video director, or thought you could do better than videos you've watched, now's your chance show everyone what you've got.
Entrants are invited to submit their videos for the track 'The Siren' by Bungle ft. Ayah, the first track from the Bungle album forthcoming on Spearhead, you can download the track for free here http://soundcloud.com/knowledge/bun...-siren-ft-ayah. Next, film and / or animate a video using your own footage, edit it and finally upload it to the Vimeo competition group.
There's no brief, the advice given is to use whatever equipment you've got. You can even use your mobile phone and edit it in iMovie, just be creative and use your imagination.
The winner will receive £500 worth of Addict Clothing of their choice and their video will be used as the official music video for the track.
The deadline for entries is midnight (GMT) September 18th and the winner will be announced by September 26th.

We got a great response with the track itself downloaded 2869 times, some of the parts receiving over 1500 downloads and 197 producers submitting their remixes.
The amount of quality entries made it difficult to choose a winner but in the end the judges went with Dominic Ridgway's effort. Check it for yourself.....

St. Petersburg D&B heavyweights Implex (aka Kirill Kalashnikov) and Enei (aka Alexey Egorchenkov) get together to record an exclusive mix for Knowledge, showcasing Russia's deep dancefloor drum & bass.
Over the last four years Implex & Enei have been breaking into the Western D&B scene more and more with solo vinyl releases on top labels such as Critical and Fokuz and remixes on Formation. 2009 marked the release of their co-produced debut album, Sublife, which caught the attention of the D&B experimentalist dons at Medschool.
