Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.
Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends (delivery to everyone being the default). Users can receive updates via the Twitter website, SMS, RSS, or through applications such as TwitterMobile, Tweetie, Twinkle, Twitterrific, Feedalizr, Facebook, and Twidget, a widget application. Four gateway numbers are currently available for SMS: short codes for the United States, Canada, and India, and a United Kingdom-based number for international use. Several third parties offer posting and receiving updates via email. By September 2008, Twitter had 'well over 5 million visitors.
Riga removed from touring schedule

Sensation regrets the fact that we have to remove Sensation Riga from the touring schedule for 2009. Due to financial circumstances, the promoter in Riga has pulled back from his obligations. There won't be an edition of Sensation in the Baltics this year.

* Mix should be around 30-40min, ONLY 10 your favourite latest tracks .
* Mix should be uploaded on any free file hosting service and sent to house@planet.ee Write in Subject: Mix Contest.
* File Format: .mp3 Maximum 192kbps.
* Tracklist must be included. Also please add your site link, MySpace or any other info about yourself.
* Only 10 first mixes will participate in our contes, so hurry up. The deadline is 15th September.
* After 15th September our visitors will vote for the best mix.
* In the end of a month we will choose the winner.
