New breath of Baltic electronic sound. Leon Somov and Linas Strockis aka Few nolder is a duo of audio artists who work and play together since 2009. Before involved in a leading lithuanian music label - community of deep contemporary dance music SILENCE MUSIC, two artists produced music and performed separately. During last few years they have left a significant trail in lithuanian electronic music scene: singles of their own, remixes of local greats, tracks with professional vocal talents and live shows all over Lithuania Also, a firm step abroad has been made with Leon, receiving an MTV Best Baltic Act award in 2010, and Linas, releasing his debut vinyl album "New Folder" on the respected Planet Mu label, UK.
Leon and Linas are prepared to give a complete package of smart dancefloor sound with an open minded aproach to the groove and melodies of their own. Subtile groove and mellow melodies with neverending sense of pulse on the stage and in the crowd.

"Rada & Ternovnik" means Rada and the Blackthorn. "Rada & Ternovnik" are the premiere Moscow darkwave/psychodelic band, most famous for chanteuse Rada's phenomenal voice. "Rada & Ternovnik" appeared in early 1990-ies as one of Russian darkest indie bands. They played pioneering acoustic psychodelic music extremely depressive in lyrics and outlook. Rada actively jammed with other highlights of then burgeoning Russian indie scene, such as Kaliningrad's mystic reggae legend "Komitet Okhrany Tepla"("Warmth Guarding Committee"). In 1991-92 Rada i Ternovnik produced their first CD "Graphics", muddled, weird, depressive, but extremely powerful, something truly unique. In mid-1990-ies "Rada & Ternovnik" mutated to a rock fourpiece, making even darker music highlighting virtuoso vocal technique of Rada, who was compared often with Diamanda Galas and Elisabeth Frazer. The CD "Sounds of Sorrow" and numerous live cassete-only releases were recorded during this period.Listeners very often experience specific shamanic influence of her voice, reporting weird bodily feelings, sudden disappearance of gravitation, and many other unusual things.
Rada i Ternovnik remain one of the leading players on Russian indie scene; one of the darkest, fascinating, tuneful, and certainly the most unique. The live sound of the group is a blend of vast electronic landscapes with psychodelic guitar solos and heavy bass drone. The group has made a special set of ethnic video recordings to accompany the performance (assuming the video projector hardware is available). The video is built from the interplay of disparately beautiful images - the Tibetian and Inca ritual masks, Indian sculptures and ancient Slavic inscriptions, painting of a Moscow artist G. Petrov and the video recording of a sunset at Sinai Peninsula. At "Rada & Ternovnik"'s concerts the listeners mark strong emotional influence of music.

The most-talked-about independent band of the last few years in Russia Punk TV are going to release their new single in a collaboration with Craig Walker.
Originally from Siberia, Punk TV formed in early 2004 before relocating to Moscow two years later. The band's discography spans over 5 years with 3 full-length releases, a 2005 debut (Punk TV), a follow-up in 2007 (Music For The Broken Keys) and last year sensation Loverdrive. Punk TV promptly grabbed the attention of Russian music press who did not hesitate to call them "the best indie-band of the country". During the five years of Punk TV's existence critics compared their sound to My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth and New Order.
The new 7” single is a double-A side featuring an instrumental ‘kraut-rock meets techno’ track “Solar” and a moving ballad “Suburban Sounds”. Written in collaboration with Craig Walker (Power Of Dreams, ex-Archive), who also provided his vocals for the song, “Suburban Sounds” is a welcome breath of fresh air from Punk TV, complete with their signature Trans-Siberian Express beats and bunnymen-style guitars.

***************************************** ЧТО К ЧЕМУ:
Родоначальник слэма - Марк Келли Смит — поэт из Чикаго, который придумал его в середине 80-х годов, ввел сам термин “slam”, а также основные правила. Термин slam использовался до этого в бейсболе и в строительной терминологии. Явление быстро распространилось по Америке, Европе и т.д., и теперь во всех крупных европейских городах регулярно устраиваются слэмы разного масштаба. В США, например, проходят национальные чемпионаты по слэму, в том числе командные.
Слэм – это очередной авангардный хам, бросающий вызов устоявшимся традициям. Его также можно назвать деструктуралистом и патологоанатомом норм и законов, комбайном по производству нового синтетического жанра искусства. Главное здесь не, что ты пишешь, а как ты это читаешь. То есть, слэм – это всегда перфоманс. Литература в данном случае лишь часть почвы, из которой этот перфоманс прорастает. Поэтическое слово перестает быть главным – теперь важно шоу, которое представляет собой поэтические спарринги, где поэты состязаются между собой, словно боксеры на ринге.
Классический слэм-текст имеет достаточно революционную особенность для всей литературы - он не столько бумагоориентирован, сколько аудиоориентирован. Иными словами, он создан для языка, губ, зубов и рта. Он создан для ушей и глаз. Он существует здесь и сейчас, в конкретном контексте и из конкретного человека. Речь идет не об идеях и смыслах, но о состояниях, эмоциях и быстротечном драйве.
***************************************** ПРАВИЛА:
1. Под участием в поэтическом слэме имеется в виду артистичное чтение собственных стихов на любом языке. Титулы, заслуги, опыт и премии участников слэма не принимаются во внимание Слэм-Мастером, формирующим список участников.
2. Слэм проходит в три тура: отборочный, полуфинал, финал.
3. Порядок выступления участников слэма формируется по алфавиту.
4. Каждый участник слэма получает три минуты на чтение своих текстов. За превышение регламента Слэм-Мастер снимает с участника 3 бала от общей суммы в конкретном туре.
5. Жюри слэма состоит из трех человек заранее выбранных Слэм-Мастером, и из одного, случайно избираемого каждый тур, зрителя. Жюри оценивает выступление по пятибальной системе по двум категориям: поэзия и перфоманс. Оценки суммируются и оглашаются Слэм-Мастером по окончанию каждого тура.
6. Использование костюмов, реквизита и музыкальных инструментов приветствуется.
7. Провокации, дебош и вопли со стороны публики приветствуется.
8. Вызывающее поведение слэмера приветствуется.
9. Подколки, оскорбления, унижения участников слэма со стороны Слэм-Мастера приветствуется.
10. Цензура в слэме запрещена.
