One of the few known solo tunes by Try and Error has recently
been released via Tilt-Recordings (specifically: T-Files)
together with a VIP version from the hands of Kaiza.
Now comes a joint remix by Kaiza and Tripstick.
These two artists prove that less is more:
bassdrums, bassline and percussions -
nothing else is needed, really,
to make a bouncing groove.

"T-FREE" is a free 320 kbps mp3 netlabel mainly for (dancefloor orientated) technoid Drum & Bass, ranging from percussive Techno-DNB to deep Neurofunk. i love this tune! 100% standard structure, BUT the core loop is exactly what my ears and heart want.
the first time i listened to it, i thought: standard, standard, very annoying synth. but i did not stop, i continued listening. even the repeated drumroll sweep sound at the end of every breakdown and outro did not make me stop listening, i only laughed. when the tune was at the end, i started it again. and when it was at the end again, i started it a third time. and then a forth time. (4 rewinds on first play!) then i checked it against some other tunes, and decided that i want to release it :)

Effect's debut tune "Fragmentation" came out
as T-FREE067 in 2009. After that, he released
five tunes on two other labels, Sick Brain
and Fish Recordings. With "Logic" he returns
to T-FREE and demonstrates his accomplishments.

i love this tune! 100% standard structure, BUT the core loop is exactly what my ears and heart want.
the first time i listened to it, i thought: standard, standard, very annoying synth. but i did not stop, i continued listening. even the repeated drumroll sweep sound at the end of every breakdown and outro did not make me stop listening, i only laughed. when the tune was at the end, i started it again. and when it was at the end again, i started it a third time. and then a forth time. (4 rewinds on first play!) then i checked it against some other tunes, and decided that i want to release it :)

Effect's debut tune "Fragmentation" came out
as T-FREE067 in 2009. After that, he released
five tunes on two other labels, Sick Brain
and Fish Recordings. With "Logic" he returns
to T-FREE and demonstrates his accomplishments.

Drillcut has been producing electronic music since 2003, using different names for different styles (his other names are SpubteD, Tecimal and c13360). Aside from producing, he has been a DJ since 2002 and also does live-act performances since 2008. His first releases with Techhouse came in 2008 and now in 2010 he starts releasing Drum & Bass, again as a total newcomer despite his experience. His debut tune "Assembly" might be surprising to the unsuspecting ears of curious listeners.. Some details are reminiscent of Minimal Techno, but the tune is far from the Minimal DNB hype. Its multiple bassdrums, fast click-percussions and the overall rather technoid sounddesign in combination with the somewhat disorientated pads do exactly what hundreds of bigname producer-djs keep promising: breaking down musical borders and creating a new aesthetical approach to old music.

"Arsenic" is a rhythmic bouncer, almost completely dry.
A proper basic loop made of syncopated bass stabs
interplaying with a strong kickdrum and a dry snare,
opened up with creative breaks, is all that is needed.
"The Dead Man Walking" has a similar structure. But
it is rolling more, has a much less prominent snare
and there is a constantly modulated synth line woven
into the rhythmic texture. Techno at its core: melody
functions smoothly as one among other rythmic elements.

... it is now time for an EP (and something else soon).
"Arsenic" is a rhythmic bouncer, almost completely dry.
A proper basic loop made of syncopated bass stabs
interplaying with a strong kickdrum and a dry snare,
opened up with creative breaks, is all that is needed.
"The Dead Man Walking" has a similar structure. But
it is rolling more, has a much less prominent snare
and there is a constantly modulated synth line woven
into the rhythmic texture. Techno at its core: melody
functions smoothly as one among other rythmic elements.
