Uniquetunes are an 8-piece instrumental band from St.Petersburg/Russia. Surprisingly quickly they won the recognition of public and critics and developed a distinctive and highly professional sound. They also got positive reactions from Clutchy Hopkins (USA) & Jaga Jazzist (Norway).
There followed many shows in Russia. They have shared a stage with Red Snapper (UK), Russian Cir…cles (USA), DJ Krush (Japan), Bonobo (UK), DJ Vadim (UK),Amon Tobin (Canada) and many others. Critics and audiences compare the band with Sonic Youth, Enter Shikari, Jaga Jazzist and even Pink Floyd's live shows. Uniquetunes not only provided the soundtrack but also work as individual

TRAINSPOTTERS are George Kaplan, 21 and Rewind, 23. From cold Umeå, live shows in New York, Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, Stockholm and at major festivals around Scandinavia got these kids warmed up and comfortable with mics since 2004.
The discography is up for grabs on iTunes, Spotify and Pirate Bay, but with the help of Random Bastards over 6 000 independently made vinyls, DVDs, CDs and cassettes has been circulating the globe over the years, as well as t-shirts, hoodies, flyers and sticker stacks. Records not sold out can be found in crates around cities such as Tokyo, Boston, London and Berlin.
Acclaimed beat maker Academics, 20, is now the main producer and uses his Korgs to further establish that unique, funky and dirty sound Rewind & Kap are known for. Collaborations on and off stage with artists like Supersci, Eboi, Allyawan, Prop Dylan, Addeboy vs Cliff, Marke, Mofeta and Cleo shows the wide range of influences and open-mindness in Trainspotters music.
Backed up by DJ and manager Chefen on the turntables, the group recently took the concept of live shows to the next level. Adding drums (Marc Tare Lugnt), synthesizer (Academics), bass guitar (Matts Katt), trumpet and saxophone (Frida and Mårten of Glesbygd'n) turned out great and gave Trainspotters a Sweden tour as well as national TV, radio and print coverage last year. Also, Kaplan's hundreds of bars received air time at Ametist on SR Metropol, on Whoa TV, My Best Friend Is My Grind and of course Random Bastards TV.
It's early 2010 and right now the studio is the business for Hannes and Eric. Trainspotters are going for the hat trick with mixtape, EP and album!
JAG became active as an MC in 2004 as one half of the rap duo Fundamentals. Music started playing an even bigger role in JAG’s life in 2005 when the collaboration with producer and good friend Bluf started. The D-Rock-produced and Bluf-featured summer anthem “Back in the city” won a radio station's demo competition and opened the doors to the legendary club Tavastia in Helsinki to open up for Redrama and Loop Troop’s Promoe. Since then JAG has performed actively around Helsinki as both headliner and opening act at venues such as Club Liberté, Korjaamo and Virgin Oil Co. One of JAG’s dreams came through in July 2008 when he had the honor of opening up for Ice Cube in Helsinki. JAG was also seen hosting the Beats & Sounds – hip hop competition in 2008. JAG has gathered a quite loyal following through web-releases and performances, and an energetic and charismatic stage presence is definitely one of his pros. JAG’s debut release, the Average Jay EP, includes both older and newer material, and collaborating with different producers and touching different topics and styles ensure the variety of the album, reaching from rugged battleraps to love"ballads" and electronic sounds. Later in '09, JAG hooked up with Sergeantman, Bluf and Mici for a new summer anthem "Sunshine Vibes", which topped a national radiostation's chart for 3 weeks, and stayed on the chart for 11 consecutive weeks. Everything Is Made In China
The band from Moscow with an internationally appealing name Everything Is Made In China has been formed about 3 years ago. While its members were still playing just for themselves, one of their girlfriends studying at the cinema production faculty asked to make a soundtrack for her exam movie. The EIMIC music soon leaked into the Internet and immediately got a highly positive feedback from the Russian indie-music fans. The somewhat humorous name of the band has been picked occasionally - at the computer store - just before the first gig.
By May 2007 EIMIC have gathered enough material to record their first album. EIMIC preferred to go to Canada becoming one of the very few Russian indie bands to record abroad and, especially, that far from home. The Toronto “Chemical Sound” studio chosen by them was famous for sound engineers Dean Marino and Jay Saldovski as well as successful records of Tokio police Club, C’Mon, Attack In Black, Goodspeed! You Black Emperor, etc. Three months of work resulted in an album plainly named “4”. EIMIC managed to merge post-rock, guitar indie, shoegazing and electronica into songs which were sharp and heartfelt at once. And it is not to mention tongue-in-cheek song-titles like “My Marshell”, “Catch & Carry” or the purely self-ironic “After Rock”.
With the album release and its presentation in Moscow and St. Petersburg in the end of 2007 EIMIC were hailed as the “Best indie band of the year”. The Russian music press and club audiences just went mad about compositional skills of the band and the quality of sound. Success in clubs brought EIMIC support slots at gigs of international bands performing in Russia. The band was lucky to become an opening act for 65 Days Of Static and Red Snapper. Such a demand is pretty obvious: the EIMIC style and quality of music stands much higher above lots of similar bands, even if we dare to speak about European scene. All the EIMIC gigs are an overwhelming sound+vision experience for the audience. Music is always accompanied by video art and images created by the band’s long-term collaborator Modest. Design and ideas are vivid and created in mixed methods and techniques. Modest is responsible for all the albums’ art-work, gig posters and, eventually, for making the video for the brand new single “Automatic” released in October 2009.
The band regularly tours abroad. In July 2008 EIMIC did the Baltic mini-tour in July with a couple of gigs in Lithuania and, eventually, at the Heineken Open'er Fest in Gdynia, Poland. Since then the band was warmly welcomed in Polish and Baltic clubs. The first EIMIC’s meeting with Finland took place at the Monsters Of Pop festival, Tampere, in September 2008. In July 2009 the band played a hugely successful gig at the respected Ilosaarirock festival in Joensuu. At the same time, the band did a step to the East, releasing the “4” in Japan.
The 2009 has become a busy year for EIMIC. The band spent it writing and recording new material, again embarking for a cross-Atlantic sessions with Dean Marino. The “Automatic Movements” album released in the end of November shows EIMIC standing even more firmly on their feet. With guitars still being a base for the songs, EIMIC soundscapes became bigger and broader due to more extensive use of samplers and analogue keyboards. Whatever the band plays - be it a nervous staccato of “The City of Airstrip One”, heart-melting flying melody of “Moving Fragments” or touching naivety of “Automatic” - get ready for deep feelings and shivers running down your spine. From Russia with love… and sound - it is all about EIMIC.

Живая проверка нового материала показала, что группа поднялась на новую ступеньку, органично объединив аудио- и видео-технологии с глубокими человеческими эмоциями. Инди-рок и электроника EIMIC находят все больше поклонников, молва о второй пластинке не утихает до сих пор.
Интерес к группе вполне закономерен. EIMIC на сто процентов оправдывают выданное им когда-то звание лучшей российской инди-группы и регулярно подкидывают своим слушателям новинки и сюрпризы. Свежие новости и релизы в медиа-сфере появлялись буквально ежемесячно - клипы на песни ”Sleepwalking” и “Held Back Clapping”, видеофестивали Museek и DotFest, ротации на “Радио Максимум” и “Радио Рокс”.
С конца весны и в течение лета EIMIC наконец-то наносят полномасштабный концертный удар. Группа сыграет сет перед британским проектом U.N.K.L.E в Москве и выступит на фестивале Transmusicales Stereo Edition в Санкт-Петербурге. Ее можно будет увидеть в московском клубе “Икра” и питерском “Памелa”, а также на площадках Вильнюса, Минска, Таллина, Хельсинки, и других городов. Участие EIMICв крупных балтийских фестивалях - Positivus в Латвии и Be2Gether в Литве - это вишенка на концертном торте группы и лишнее подтверждение уровня ее музыки. Шансы увидеть ”Automatic Movements Live” этим летом высоки как никогда.
