El Haijn from the Ginyu Force crew is an Austrian DJ and producer known to some degree in the Drum & Bass scene as Bowsar (the artist formerly known as Bowser). He appeared as such on www004 one year ago; also on Mindtech, Black Seeds, Nocid Business, Flight, Anxiety Disorder (r.i.p.), Producer Network (r.i.p.), T3K, T-FREE, Nu:Gen and Gun Recordings.
As El Haijn he produces Dubstep and so far he has released tunes mostly on Dub Bullet, also on Twenty/Twelve Netaudio and one in the multi channel art project "2999" of Peppermill Recordings. More releases are planned on Monkey Dub, Tripstep and Stoke Audio.

Apotheist, like El Haijn, is a member (the youngest) of the Ginyu Force crew in Vienna where they organize parties from time to time, mostly with Drum & Bass line ups. In production he focusses on Dubstep and combines it with elements of Classical Music. He as well has released some tunes on Dub Bullet and Twenty/Twelve Netaudio.

Internet Recordings is a free mp3 netlabel for various kinds and subgenres of Drum & Bass and for other interesting styles of electronic (dance) music.

Internet Recordings provides legal free music releases (= mp3 downloads) in random intervals. These mp3 downloads have catalogue numbers (www001, www002...) and a proper format including standardized file names and tags. The downloads are accompanied with file info, some basic information on the artists, links to their respective homepages or social network profiles (if available) and sometimes pictures or even artwork. However, the main focus is on music and information; the label does not even have a logo yet.

Internet Recordings is inspired by Drum & Bass netlabels such as Plain Audio, T-FREE, Exegene (R.I.P.), HMSU, Zardonic and the free tunes provided by Santorin, BBC 1 Extra and many artists on their own...

In our opinion, the internet leads to pretty much the end of commercial music distribution. This is because the post Millenium generation growing up with internet from their early childhood are not willing to pay for something they can also have for free... Therefore, netlabels are by default the legal music distributors of tomorrow.

All tunes released via Internet Recordings are published under a by-nc-nd Creative Commons License with consent of their respective producers. All the tunes can be played by DJs, used in mixes & DJ-sets, radioshows, on live events etc just like regular vinyl/CD/digital releases (but without the obligation to pay royalties to copyright collecting agencies). Furthermore, they can be shared and redistributed freely.

Zardonic from Venezuela is undoubtedly the biggest dark Drum & Bass act in Latin America, with bookings in other countries including tours across the USA and Europe. Over the past few years he has amassed quite some vinyl releases (on labels like Human Imprint, Counterstrike, Subsonik Sound, Mindsaw, Cymbalism, Melting Pot, Assimilate...) and a good bunch of digital and netlabel releases on several labels including the seminal T-FREE from Germany, plus he is running his own netlabel Zardonic Recordings. Before putting out "normal" Drum & Bass tunes, he got around in the Metal scene under his alias "Gorepriest", was involved in several projects and made remixes for bands. From that he had actually quite a history of fusing Metal with Drum & Bass even before it became really hip in the Drum & Bass scene. Around 2006/2007 he started concentrating more and more on Drum & Bass, developed his production skills considerably, attracted many fans with his music and eventually managed to gain the standing he has today.

Replicator from Romania has his vinyl debut on Aural Carnage and a growing number of digital and netlabel releases (on Mindsaw, Wayside and Black Hoe) under his belt so far, and more material is forthcoming on Dark Asylum, Mindsaw and other labels. Also watch out for his hard Techno collaborations with Delusional aka Mumblz... Replicator comes directly from the dark and technoid side of Drum & Bass, and that goes very well together with Zardonic's approach, as everybody can hear in this nice collaboration tune here.

By the way, Zardonic simply HAD TO hand over a tune because in 2006, 3 years before the launch of Internet Recordings, there was a short-lived, controversial parody netlabel on DOA with the same name - and Zardonic got quite some from that label! Its label launch announcement and (1 week later) final statement threads are mandatory because DOA at its best and informative. For interested readers there is even more comedy to be found... And the Promo-Mix (mirror) is one of the funniest things ever - listening is highly recommended!

Internet Recordings is a free mp3 netlabel for various kinds and subgenres of Drum & Bass and for other interesting styles of electronic (dance) music.

Internet Recordings provides legal free music releases (= mp3 downloads) in random intervals. These mp3 downloads have catalogue numbers (www001, www002…) and a proper format including standardized file names and tags. The downloads are accompanied with file info, some basic information on the artists, links to their respective homepages or social network profiles (if available) and sometimes pictures or even artwork. However, the main focus is on music and information; the label does not even have a logo yet.

Internet Recordings is inspired by Drum & Bass netlabels such as Plain Audio, T-FREE, Exegene (R.I.P.), HMSU, Zardonic and the free tunes provided by Santorin, BBC 1 Extra and many artists on their own…

In our opinion, the internet leads to pretty much the end of commercial music distribution. This is because the post Millenium generation growing up with internet from their early childhood are not willing to pay for something they can also have for free… Therefore, netlabels are by default the legal music distributors of tomorrow.

Mefjus is already known from the very first release on Internet Recordings; Bowser is a fellow DJ/producer whom he often works with (amongst other shared projects they have an EP with some of their many collaborations forthcoming on Mindtech Recordings). Recently, they made two neuro/techfunk influenced remixes for the 2 years label anniversary remix competition of Influenza Media (a liquid funk label). Naturally that competition was won by artists who made midrange-free liquid funk remixes, fitting the label stylewise. These will come out on Influenza Media in the course of 2010. But even though Mefjus and Bowser did not win, their remixes are way too good to remain unreleased. So, with friendly permission of Influenza Media, they are hereby given to the world as free downloads. Enjoy!

Kaiza from Mannheim is without doubt the most active Techno-DNB artist in Germany. He was one of the first artists to systematically focus on this style together with his former studio partner amex and actually coined the term “Techno-DNB” in early 2004. He has actively shaped this music and the scene on many levels ever since its official formation in 2005, and in 2009 alone he has produced over 70 tunes together with Shots, Try and Error, Isotop, D-Struct, Bassrk, Eiton, Mefjus and other artists; plus he released over 40 of them in all formats and on numerous labels, including his own digital imprint T3K and his mother label Tilt-Recordings (& T-Files), which he co-founded in 2003, and the affiliate netlabel T-FREE. Aside from producing and releasing technoid Drum & Bass, maintaining his own label for technoid Drum & Bass and playing mostly Neurofunk and technoid Drum & Bass when being booked to events, Kaiza has been covering almost all facets of Drum & Bass in his mixes over the past years, but also Reggae/Dancehall, Dubstep, House, Techno and Hiphop. Furthermore he has been hosting the weekly and versatile Drum & Bass radio show DMF since 2001 and used to organize parties for Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Techno, House and Breaks in the Mannheim area.
Shots is a very talented and crazy producer hailing from Palatinate (near Mannheim) in Germany. He first appeared at the surface of the scene with his fulminant debut “Burning Identity” (together with his long time studio partner Isotop) on T-FREE in early 2008 and then released a handful of collaborations with Isotop and The Phalanx plus three solo tunes on Tilt-Reordings (& T-Files), T-FREE, Wayside and T3K; and he started to occasionally make tunes together with Kaiza in fall 2008. In the course of 2009, the two artists put out 6 straight collaborations and 10 more tunes together with Isotop on vinyl, digital labels and netlabels like Metafiziq, Abducted, Fish Recordings and Anxiety Disorder and of course the already mentioned Kaiza affiliated labels. And still there are many more tunes on the release schedule…

www003: Kaiza + Shots - "Starkstrom"
www002: Acid_Lab - "Fallen Angel" / “Nuclear War”
www001: Mefjus - "Fugly Habits"

Acid_Lab is a Drum & Bass producer from Palatinate in Germany. He is into a lot of different styles and subgenres (Techstep, Drumfunk, Liquid…) and has loved Drum & Bass since the 90s. He even started producing back then but had his debut release one decade later, in 2008. It came on the infamous Drum & Bass netlabel Darkland and was widely overlooked. Since then he has gathered a list of releases on T-FREE, Basswerk and Basswerk Files, Black Hoe, Darkstep.org and most recently Syncopathic and Break-Fast Audio. Today his tunes are played by heavyweight artists such as Equinox, Gremlinz, Loxy and Ink; and more of his tunes are forthcoming on labels such as Golden Age and Urban.
