“Tallinn crew can I have some noise?” – LTJ Bukem ja MC Conrad sel neljapäeval klubis Privé.
Vastupidiselt traditsioonilisele kesksuvisele etteastele toovad LTJ Bukem ja MC Conrad sel aastal mõnusaid emotsioone Tallinnasse 20. novembril. Soovituslik on klubis Privé olla kõigil pehmema ja atmosfäärilisema muusika austajatel, kuna sedavõrd head elamust ei pakuta väga tihti. Külalisesinejate jaoks mängivad võimendid soojaks residendid Dzheimz ja Mark Slavin. Õhtu lõpetab Sublime’i dj Ekvaliza.
LTJ Bukem aka Danny Williamson on vaste mõistetele jazzilik ja atmosfääriline drum’n’bass ning ta on üks nendest vähestest figuuridest, kes superstar-dj tiitli välja kannab. Millest tuleb aga LTJ Bukemi artistinimi? Nimelt on “El DJ” hispaania keeles “DJ” (ingl k “The DJ”) ning “Book’em Danno” tuntud väljend 70-ndate menuseriaalist “Hawaii Five-O”. Liites need kaks asja kokku ongi tulemuseks “LTJ Bukem”. Bukem ja tema leibel Good Looking Records (www.goodlooking.org) on viimastel aastatel madalat profiili hoidnud ning väljastanud võrreldes varasemaga küllaltki vähe muusikat. Seeeest on tüüp non-stop ratastel ning tihe esinemisgraafik viib teda kõikjale maailmas. Bukemi mängitavast muusikast saab ettekujutuse kui tutvuda tema edetabeliga.

üks asi oli see, et koha omanik tellis peopäeval ühe raudtala paigaldamise. tala pandi tantsupõranda alla risti vastu maad toetama. see võttis vibrat maha. samuti panime grammarite jalgade alla silindrid (näiteks teibirullid), millele olid peale tõmmatud paljud rahakummid. see jättis küll grammarid pisut õõtsuma ning räpimehed seal skratsida ei saaks, aga hüppamise vastu aitab küll.

Suur tänu kõigile. Oleme rahul, kuna saime südamest asja teha. Sound oli wimpsi parim vist. Rahvast oli umbes sama palju kui nädal varem samas toimunud üritusel, loomulikult oleks võinud rohkem olla.

kuigi kasutab keegi vaid üht sämplit, mis on ainuke link originaallooga ja lugu kõlab hoopis teistsuguselt, siis ilmselt juriidiliselt oleks õigem öelda, et lugu on originaaliautori oma, kuna see "müüb" loo puhul enim.
tuleb meelde üks kunagine lugu selle kohta, et Aphex Twin pidi kellelegi remixi tegema ning oli hoopis vahepeal selle ära unustanud. kui plaadifirmamehed siis deadline'i saabudes ukse taha tulid, et kus dat on, siis tüüp enam vähem kratsis kukalt ja ütles, et on valmis küll. läks tõi mingi suvalise loo ja ütles, et see ongi see remix, millest jutt käib. sel puhul polnud originaalist ilmselt mitte midagi loos sees.

Attention Djs and record collectors!
We are living in the time when vinyl production is in the process of dying out. Because of that it is the latest time to think about maintaining the mercantile looks of the records in your collection. Especially it concerns active Djs who regularly play out and who take the records out from the record bag and put them back in very often. After few times of being on the gig the beautiful designs of the record sleeves start to look spoilt.
This can be avoided by a temporary record sleeve, which can be ordered now!
Temporary record sleeve allows to leave the original sleeve home on the shelf where nothing happens to it. After few years one could admit that the sleeves are still looking out fresh and beautiful as they were when bought and one could sell them with a reasonable price too if necessary. The temporary record sleeve can be used also for other reasons. For example if one would like to have all his/her records with the most similar measurements possible so the records would be easier to handle. Promos in thin paper sleeves often disapear between the cartboard sleeves, specially when they are needed most. They also will be spoilt very soon.
There are two types of sleeves, one classic white and other nice brown. The difference comes from which side of the cartboard is been folded on top.
The sleeve is possibly small and the vinyl sits in tightly. So one could not put the thin paper sleve in it. But the sleeve itsself can be put in the classic cartboard sleeve, which is little bit bigger. Also it is possible to produce the sleeves with a custom design/print and/or from different material. Frost got the music bug at a tender age, South Londoner Jumping Jack Frost hit the DJ circuit at 18, mixing funk, hip hop and original breakbeats and diving into the acid house circuit via the Carwash nights in the late 80’s.djs were Grooverider, Bryan gee, Fabio, Frost,and Pete stewart. When the rave scene exploded Frost was at its forefront, enjoying the freedom of going with the flow and mixing drastically different styles of music to suit the mood of the moment. Starting at the (FRIDGE) in brixton. Frost went on to headline many legendary events of the era including Sunrise and Energy. At the fridge frost was resident with ellis dee, paul trouble anderson and evil eddie richards .....Joining Dynamix dj agency run by (eddie richards) was a major turning point in frosts life ,now things got serious ...It was time to start seeing the world ,Germany,japan,and more followed . Being in northern ireland in the dark days when nobody else wanted to go!!!! Bcm and ibiza with carl cox and gigs with the prodigy .....There was so many experiences like the first time in italy with Frankie valentine and being caught in the middle of a neo nazi march in germany with fabio ..Also being in germany when the wall came down ...:) His friendship with Bryan Gee was formed when Frost heard Bryan's diverse set in a small south London bar. Bryan left his promotions job at Outer Rhythm with some demos by then unknown Bristol artists Roni Size and Krust, the two teamed up and started their own label, V Recordings, to release them. To watch roni,krust,die,Dynamite and suv develop into full blown artists the satisfaction and pride watching reprazent win the mercury music prize is something that cannot be described ... In 1993, Frost produced one of jungle’s most seminal anthems: ‘THE BURIAL’.(mobo nominated)... Recorded as (LEVITICUS) with a young engineer called (DILLINJA) at the controls and (OPTICAL) on the vocal mix that featured frosts sister yolanda . The sound was too hardcore for the experimental and cutting-edge V and Philly Blunt was formed. The exemplary rise of both labels is illustrated by the success of the ‘V classic’ album released in 1997 which confirmed Frost and Bryan as leading forces on the scene on both sides of the Atlantic. Frost spent 5 years at (KISS 100) winning the best radio dj award . (PLANET V)- frost and bryan headed 2 america where two years as (monthly)residents at the world famous (TWILO) New york put them on the map in america planet v had arrived . Frost was also resident once a month at the (VIPER ROOM) in los angeles And (INDUSTRY) in toronto.. Planet v at bagleys and the end nightclub were legendary too say the least .Frost has remixed Jamiroquai ,Cath coffey and Drizabone 2 name a few....BRASIL: After meeting dj marky and patife and going 2 brazil frost and bryan decided to release a ep featuring the best talent from brazil (the brasil ep) . The rest is history .....Since then, Frost has concentrated on his DJ career, headlining at festivals like Reading, Homelands and Tribal Gathering and travelling the world, from puerto rico to Tokyo, Vancouver to Moscow. DJ RUFFSTUFF BIOG
Steve aka DJ Ruffstuff’s’ love affair with plastic, circular objects began in 1988 (he was a late starter if you get my driftHis musical background is more random than a white boy in a mosque, ranging from Irish folk to US Rap. The late 80’s was the era of electro, hard house and acid and wasn’t long before breakbeat reared its head, as the 80’s drew to a close. It wasn’t until 1990’ when a friend of Ruffstuff, who was DJing, inspired him to have a go himself; after all he’d been collecting vinyl for years to play, why not try and mix them together. The whole idea of this was alien to Ruff, “I went out and bought a pair of decks without a pitch control.”
Born and raised in south London he managed to work his way onto local pirate stations Force FM 1991 was the year Ruffstuff got his first play and began to believe a career beckoned. Then mid-nineties enter Bryan G, one of dance music’s leading figures then and now. “I was introduced to him by a mutual friend. Bryan has definitely been one of the major reasons for my success.” Bryan G took Ruffstuff under his wing, supplying him with some of the freshest duplates the drum ‘n’ bass scene had to offer. Another integral element to his rise was when he met Carl Collins, who ran Hard Leaders Recordings.
While working in a record shop, Ruffstuff got his head down and persisted with the small gigs that were earning him a reputation and a crust.
But it was in 99’ that he gained his first real big and deserved break. Bryan G, founder and resident of Movement, booked Ruff at the London club night for the first time. Smashing up the place with dubplate after dubplate, he left the normally reserved MC Moose to have a word with Boss Man G, “This bwoy’s heavy, B. Ruffstuff has played at some of the biggest and most famous club nights and festivals across the world, including Homelands, Movement Tent at The Millennium Dome and Skolbeats (Brazil). Ruffstuff has also played at established club nights such Telepathy, Raindance, Breakin’ Science and Fever Meets Heat.
Ruffstuff has also displayed his skills at production with releases on Movement Recordings, L-Plates and Hardleaders.
He has also been one of the leading DJ’s on the respected, Kool FM, which resulted in him coming in the top 5 Radio Show category at Accelerated Culture Awards.
DJ Ruffstuff has been heavily involved with the V Recordings and Movement Camp for the last 8 years pushing the V sound wherever he lays his record bag. His sound has been described as one that is all about vibes, with the latest party anthems to rock any party.

M.C.Fun –da Funsta –has been rapping since he was 7 and writing lyrics since 1994.He is a new breed of MC possessing the mic.skills both to chat fast and
spit more conscious-led lyrics.Fusing his talent and experience with a love of both Drum n Bass and Hip Hop,MC Fun has developed a style which is always
mesmerising,sometimes thought-provoking and uniquely his own.
Fun entered the scene from a Hip Hop background but quickly established himself within the underground D&B circuit. By the mid to late 1990s he was playing on radio stations such as ‘Kik F.M.’,‘Ruud ’and ‘Rude Awakening ’and at raves like Desire,Heat,Pure Science and High Velocity.In 1998 he was asked to join the Kool F.M.crew,and has been performing on the station –Drum n Bass ’ most popular –ever since.Fun is also a regular on internet radio,including most currently ‘Pyrotechnics ’,‘D&B Worldwide ’,‘Syndicate ’and ‘U.K.Rumble ’.This radio exposure along with regular appearances at T.O.V,Movement,Legends of the Dark Black,Innovation,Chatterbox,Fever and One Nation to name but a few, have led Fun to become one of the most established and respected players in the underground D&B scene.
Fun however has also made it mainstream performing at some of the U.K.’s biggest festivals.Since 2000 he has played Glastonbury,Homelands,Nedworth and Essentials.He also reaches beyond the U.K.scene by gigging globally.His work has taken him all over the world;to Greece with Kool F.M.;Brazil with Urban Takeover;France for N.Y.E.;America,Germany and most recently Spain and Portugal alongside D.J,s Mickey Finn and Andy C respectively.In fact,Fun has worked with a myriad of different D.J,s within D&B and is as happy M.Cing with Ruffstuff as he is with Bryan Gee,Bad Company,Dr S.Gachet or L Double to a crowd of 200 or 20,000 people.
MC Fun now has residencies with a number of clicks.He is a regular at Pure Science and Kenetic Soul in Kent and performs on both a weekly and monthly basis for Dekefex in Brixton,London.He is part of the government ’s ‘Don ’t Shoot ’campaign touring schools promoting anti-gun violence,and as a leading member of the ‘Uncontrolabels ’he rhymes alongside fellow lyricists and has even started building his own beats.
Fun has a strong and talented presence within the scene.Not only can he rinse it out high-energy style at a rave,he can also captivate the audience with his
deeply-inspirational words of wisdom,on the underground,mainstream and global circuits.His appeal lies in this versatility,this fresh and often challenging
