Disclosure is comprised of two brothers, Guy and Howard Lawrence, aged 16 and 19 who write, record and produce all of their material, from a studio based just south of London.
Having been born into a musical family, with their father once signed to CBS records and their mother an enormously talented professional singer, the boys have been performing on stage from a very young age. It was only in 2010, through a chance encounter that they managed to get into the studio to record and work on the songs they'd co-written over many years. It was during this time that the sound of Disclosure was born.
Sonically their main influences stem from their Croydon locale, as they effortlessly combine the 2-step rhythms of garage and basslines of dubstep with their own rich musical heritage including soul, jazz and 90's hip hop. Their music is set to erupt on dancefloors across the globe.
The duo’s last double A-side single "Carnival" / "I Love That You Know" was released on June 13th via Transparent to critical acclaim, with fans including Pitchfork, NME, and RCRD LBL all praising them ever since the brothers made their debut in 2010 with the "Offline Dexterity" release on the Moshi Moshi singles club. Needless to say these 2 records are only the first taste of the wealth of talent and potential these obscenely talented young musicians possess; a clear statement of intent from these future dance luminaries.

A sub-bass addict since day one, ROKO has been mixing Dubstep and Grime since 2005 when getting deeper into the emerging sounds of the UK underground. Originally hailing from Helsinki, the Finnish selector has been a London resident since 2002, playing over three years as a weekly regular on the international #1 pirate-style Dubstep/Bass music internet radio SUB.FM (Saturdays 1-3PM GMT).
Also for over three years ROKO has been promoting a cutting edge non-profit Dubstep night B.O.M.B@Cafe1001 - going down monthly at the heart of Brick Lane. During the last years he has played gigs all around Europe - together on the bill with acts such as Scuba (co-organising a night with him in Berlin called Horst Flush), Ramadanman, Skream, Reso, Stereotyp and Pangaea.
ROKO's selection in Dubstep represents the music's diversity and undefined nature and encompasses styles from the deeper and more musical end to the harder and more dance floor orientated flavours.

Raadz is the head honcho of Kajatuba ("Echo Chamber") which is a dubstep and bass music oriented weekly radioshow on Estonian national radio station Raadio 2. Airing on frequencies between 101.6-103.6 Mhz every Friday late night from 00-01.
But there is much more to Raadz than just the mellow voice on air. Featured on nearly all the Estonian dubstep compilations this experimental producer has got one of the most interesting sounds in town. In addition to his own creations he is an active DJ spinning and presenting the quality of others. Sets varying from deep subs to percussion filled dancefloor vibez.

Jamie Roberts aka Blawan is a hotly tipped producer/dj from Sheffield, UK who appeared on the map out of nowhere last year. In case you haven't noticed yet, Blawan uses masterfully percussion instruments throughout his production. This is due to his time spent drumming in post-punk bands back in South Yorkshire before the whole dub-step-and-all-its-off-shoots sound became the primary source of listening.
After sending on some tracks to Untold he got a phone call from an excited David Kennedy (Ramadanman/Pearson Sound), a member of the triumvirate which makes up Hessle Audio, that same day. With this release he joined a small number of high profile artists on the critically acclaimed label. For those unfamiliar with Hessle Audio, it is a bass music label based in Leeds which has been at the forefront of new directions in the big mess of music that has been known as dubstep since 2007, and now on its 18th release. The 13th Hessle record "Fram" b/w "Iddy" released last May and was Blawan’s debut.
There’s a certain spastic glee to the British producer’s misfit bass music. Built from rambunctious, elastic rhythm tracks that whip, snap, and crash in all directions, they always land in a wonderfully satisfying thud even if not always in the exact place you’d expect. Blawan carves intricate veins of acid into his wooden percussive monoliths, and the corrosive bubbling courses violently and virulently through each track.

Estonian-born Firejosé aka Mark Stukis pondered into the electronic music world in the 90s, gradually moving from listening to records to going to raves to DJing, falling in love with drum'n'bass. After years of spinning and producing solely one genre he started to grow tired of it. His adventures would take him to jungles of Central America, where cut off from modern trends of electronic music, he started crafting his own style. After moving back to civilization and coming in touch with the music scene again, he slowly started spreading his work.
His sound is always on the deeper end of the musical spectrum but also with a dancefloor tip, the production style of tracks on Yellow Lanes EP have drawn comparisons to the likes of Floating Points and Joy Orbison. His musical influences range from Arvo Pärt to Rage Against the Machine, from Bjork to The Prodigy, from Kompakt to Metalheadz, from J Dilla to Zed Bias.
DJ-ing wise you will not be disappointed also - Firejosé has a solid background in double dropping dnb dubplates - a skill which he has brought over to these unfamiliar territories he is exploring musically now.

Ettekuulutused on tõesed, kätte on jõudnud suurte muutuste periood. Täheaeg 2011 punkt 21.05 märgistab ajaloolist daatumit, mil sünnib makromaailma olulisim jõud – G R A V I T Y. See on vastastikmõju, mis hakkab levima üle kogu ümbritseva aegruumi ning mida rohkem ta helisid endasse haarab ja mida kvaliteetsemad need on, seda tugevamaks ta transformeerub. Eksisteerib üks ja ainult üks eesmärk – mateeria muundamine muusikaks. Sellel uuestisünnil astuvad ülesse üksnes kolossaalsed kehastused, erinevate kultuurisuundade juurutajad ja visionäärid:
Africa HiTech [Warp Records]
Nearly nine years ago MARK PRITCHARD and STEVE SPACEK began bonding over their shared passion for the seemingly disparate spheres of bubbling Detroit techno, soul and fierce Jamaican digital dancehall. First came an appearance by Spacek on Pritchard’s Troubleman album, then the collaborative track “Turn It On” released on Sonar Kollektive. It was when they both, by pure coincidence, found themselves living in Australia that the connection was cemented. Africa HiTech is the moniker which represents both Steve and Mark’s love for all things progressive within music, whilst acknowledging that the roots of much of today’s popular music can be traced directly back to Africa.
Pritchard had already begun to narrow the gaps between the pair’s beloved genres under his Harmonic 313 moniker and Spacek was eager to explore new directions in both his production and vocals after the disbandment of his eponymous band and the worldwide acclaim of his Dilla-asisted “Dollar” single. The first widely heard fruits of the duo’s labor was the striking single “Blen”. A penetrating exercise in minimalist dancehall swordplay, it was released under the intriguing name Africa HiTech which immediately seemed to encompass both the influences and ambitions of the newly christened 2-piece.
The result is 93 Million Miles, an unflinchingly ambitious product of international globe-trotting that carves a new faultline into the rapidly expanding terrain of “bass music”…or whatever it’s being called this week. The first point of introduction for many will have been the Ini Kamoze-sampling behemoth “Out In The Street”, immediately championed by Flying Lotus, Untold, Toddla T, Benji B and Scratcha DVA.
This ambitious cultural intake could spell disaster, but in the hands of Pritchard and Spacek it becomes a surprising, fulfilling journey aimed squarely at the dedicated listener rather than simply at the dancefloor. Given the duo’s breadth of experience and exquisite levels of taste and ability, it could go no other way.
