GU10 - не удивляйтесь этому названию. Нет, это не переиздание десятого по счету выпуска главной серии лейбла Global Underground, такое название имеет специальный альбом, посвященный 10-летию деятельности брэнда. За 10 лет Global Underground осветил выступления лучших диджеев мира, выступавших в разных точках планеты - Шанхай, Сидней, Торонто, Москва, Лос-Анджелес, Сан-Франциско и мн. др.
Пожалуй, в мире нет другого дэнс-лейбла, преподносящего танцевальную музыку с такой же концептуальностью и привлекательностью как это делает GU. Его основателями были два обычных английских клаббера - Энди Хорсфилд (Andy Horsfield) и Джэймс Тодд (James Todd), решившие в один прекрасный момент уйти в бизнес звукозаписи. Достаточно быстро независимый лейбл стал практически культовым. Словосочетание Global Underground стало признаком высокого качества материала и синонимом выражения "хороший музыкальный вкус".

6 июня в Америке состоится презентация GU 10. Альбом будет состоять из трех дисков, в два из которых войдут треки, некогда издававшиеся в компиляциях Global Underground, а также звучавшие на вечеринках, проходящих под эгидой лейбла. По мнению издателей, это самые значимые треки десятилетия. Третий диск посвящен музыке начала 90-х, музыке периода зарождения клубной культуры.
