musically it wouldn't be nothing special without the vocals, so its more like a bootleg or remix not your original track. the drums sound quite good though.
I totally agree with cm. if you'd use only some phrases of an acapella on your own idea/melody to add some effect or "human touch" it would be ok, but in this case the author(s) should be the one(s) who wrote the melody and lyrics not the one who played in a couple of key's that fit the stolen melody. Yes, there are tunes that have wrong author names and that's a shame.
artist who made original vocals is absolutely fine with that, to name this track rmx or not, main concept is that i can share this tune, but i can't make money without his permission..

Here's nothing stoled, acapella shared artist himself in one of the public acapella site. as far as i don't make money without his presmission is all good(y)

that woun't change the fact that it's not your idea and melody. It's the easiest way to produce a vocal track that sounds musically great, but it shows your lack of own ideas.

so why didn't you name the track a rmx to show some respect to the original author of the melody and lyrics? that doesn't make a diference if its legal or illegal, does it?

say it to marcus intalex, high contrast..and etc. ;D pfffff
i haven't sayed it sounds bad. it sounds good. you've got the mixing skills, but for me the idea of a track is the main thing that counts. so you've done a good job as a remixer not as a songwriter.
dr3xl: um, almost every sample-based d&b producer is technically a remixer.
totally agree, but it makes a diference if u use a full-length acapella and build up a whole track on it or combine acapella phrases with your own melody.
