He has been fond music since childhood. First beloved record was "Music From The Universe" by Latvian space-rock band Zodiac. Became an electronic alternative music listener since 1994.
2000-2005 Chill participated in all kinds of big festivals and small events all over Estonia. From summer 2005 Chill and other 2 enthusiasts from Tallinn organized number of events under project name Krill featuring worldwide famous Electronic music artists, to name a few:
Oliver Hacke (DE), Daniel Fritschi (DE), SLG (PL), Monolake(DE), Luke Eargoggle (SWE), Steevio (UK), Nubian Minds (IRE), Karsten Pflum (DEN), Microthol (AUS), Dj Stingray (USA), Herrmutt Lobby (BEL), Grad_U (LIT) and even twice Jeff Milligan (CA) and three times Andres Ilar(SWE).
At present concentrating on Minimal, Dubby, Experemental Techno, mixing it with Electro, IDM, Ambient, Instrumental and all kinds of good music, Dj Chill and other members of the Krill crew is now continuing to organize small to medium sized quality events. Apart from doing events home, Krill had made some joint projects with Latvian, Lithuanian and Slovakian promoters during 2007 and there are more planned for the near future.
By now Chill is a regular resident at annual festival Freerotation, which takes part in historical mansion in Wales, also resident of Supynes festival and have also took played already in UK, Belgium, Slovakia and all over Baltics. This time he prepares a special Detroit Techno set for … event, which will include music from different time, but which will certainly be perfect for dancing.
