because of random (and oftenly violent) comments to somebody's tunes, i have decided to educate You and give some suggestions how to listen and give objective feedback:
1. Make sure you have enough good equipment for listening. (and e.g while listening Headphones you can't reckon so much bassline, but you can reckon well stereophase usually... e.g know your speaker characteristics, don't turn equalizers on....)
2. Find some free time and be relaxed while you are playing the whole tune to yourself
3. Think about it 5 minutes, what you did like or what you did not like. (e.g strings @ 3.33 are too loud you think, filtering @ 2.22 sounds amazing! or i like your tune, but mixdown could improved)
4. Listen it again to have proof that your brain did'nt messed something up.
5. Write down turing second listening what you did like or what you did not like, more details you give, more worth is your opinion to composer. And don't comment stylely like, ohh this is my friend's tune, i need to promote his/her shit
-glide-: emm....Maybe its possible to make a "HallOfFame" for best dubplates on forum?Just to put in best tunes in forum visitors opinion for listening only?:)
pre problem is in hosting... we don't have enough space on server... For now - you can sort threads by rating...
